I have been asked to select some short films, in coordination with some musicians that are coming to Amsterdam for the Doek Festival. The location the organizers have chosen is De Slang, where I have my weekly Blue Rascal cinema….. so it seems natural that I pick the films for the evening. The main film which will be featured with live soundtrack will be DECASIA by Bill Morrison- a one hour, mind-boggling “found footage” journey with psycho-hallucinogenic dimensions. There will also be three special short films beforehand, each with compositions by different musicians. - Jeffrey Babcock
